Only candidates who are born-again Christians will be considered for this position.

Wayne Christian School was founded in 1987. As a Christ-centered community school, WCS’s mission is to assist parents and churches in the education of children, from a Biblical worldview, to impact their world for Christ. The founders of WCS wanted to provide families with an educational setting that would be both academically challenging and spiritually transforming. WCS holds accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). As the largest private school in Goldsboro, WCS is a multi-building campus serving approximately 750 students in kindergarten (K-5) through grade twelve, 55 children in the pre-school K-4 program, and 110 infants and children in the child care center.

The school’s purpose is to teach students about Christ and the world He created and prepare them for a life of service to Him. This includes providing a quality education that teaches students to think Biblically, leading children into a personal and saving relationship with God the Father through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, fostering trust in and obedience to the Word of God, and teaching the implications of Biblical truth to every area of life.

Located about fifty miles southeast of Raleigh, Goldsboro is the home of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Goldsboro and Wayne County offer a significant cultural landscape including the Maxwell Regional Agricultural and Convention Center, a performing arts theater, a history museum, Cliffs of the Neuse State Park, outdoor recreational areas, and close proximity to the North Carolina coast.
