Jackson Christian seeks a visionary, Christian leader focused on the school’s mission as its next President. The Board of Trustees expects the new President to begin July 1, 2023. The candidate selected will be a spiritual, experienced servant leader fully committed to the mission of the school.

The President should understand, embrace, and support the school’s mission and statement of faith. The ideal candidate must be a person of strong faith and Godly character, personable, energetic, engaged, and attentive to details. The ideal candidate will be a proven team leader with administrative experience at an independent school and proficient in hiring, supporting, and mentoring outstanding faculty and administrators. Candidates should be able to clearly articulate a vision for the Christian school, understanding how the role of the President strengthens spiritual formation through Christian education.

Job Description:

The President of Jackson Christian School is responsible for developing and leading the administrative team and for delivering a program of academic excellence; maintaining the primacy of Christ in all school endeavors; supervising and developing key leadership talent within school administration, staff, and faculty; developing and retaining enrollment and staff; and representing the school professionally and enthusiastically while developing positive relationships with key stakeholders.
