The member schools of the National Christian School Association are affiliated with the Churches of Christ and operated by members of local Churches of Christ. Each school is not-for-profit and independently operated in most cases by a self-perpetuating board. Students of all faiths who are in agreement with the mission and philosophy of the school are welcome to apply to NCSA schools.

The National Christian School Association is recognized by the Office of Non-Public Education in the U.S. Department of Education and the National Center for Education Statistics and is a member of the Council for American Private Education (CAPE). The NCSA’s accrediting process is recognized by the National Council for Private School Accreditation, five of the regional accrediting associations and by state departments of education, where available and applicable. The member schools of the NCSA meet in an annual convention beginning on the first Wednesday of March.
